Our maiden show in April 2011 was quite a success. You'll find images from the first show and stats below, along with some quotes from our visitors and exhibitors.




Over 3,000 visitors enjoyed browsing the 67 exhibition stands and taking part in activities such as ascending climbing walls, learning burshcraft skills and demonstrations, listening to inspirational talks and presentations and watching the amazing Savage Skills mountain bike display team doing their crazy stunts. Many also had a go on a segway, trialled recumbant bikes and got driven over Land Rover's mini terrapod.

We asked people what they liked about the show. Here's what some of them said:

"Loved all the activites that were available to try - climbing wall, segways from Crieff Hydro, trike, snowboard simulator, how to light a fire, the Land Rover/Range Rover demo and the bike display team. All the people we met were very informative, helpful and friendly. They all seemed passionate about what they were promoting."

"Lots of info about Scottish outdoor activities in one place. Talking to enthusiastic people about outdoor activities."

There was a wide mix of exhibitors at the 2011 show, from hotels and activity providers, to camper van rental companies and clothing suppliers. Some of the quotes from exhibitors:

"We were able to grow brand awareness for the visitor centre and our ice cream which was great. Also as we were selling vouchers for the visitor centre at greatly reduced prices we will hopefully see a lot of these coming through our system over the year and be able to work out the turnaround from the show. We sold 300 vouchers over the 2 days which was great!"

"I thought that for a first event like this it was a great success and I had very positive response from the visitors I spoke to about the show."
